REAR CHOKE WITH CLUB

This choke is accomplished with a club or any non-flexible club-like item. It was used as an option for wartime use against sentries. The photographs alone explain this choke, however:

A. You are quietly behind your opponent or enemy, with a sturdy stick or club in your right hand, being held like you might hold a dagger.

B. Grasp the club near its end firmly and thrust it across his throat, from his left side across toward the right side of his throat. It can even be swung into his Adam’s apple.

C. Immediately grasp the other end of the club with your left hand, your arms crossed behind him, and pull it toward you with your hands as you press both forearms against the back of his neck. Be careful not to crush his throat.
